Down the TBR Hole #2

It’s that time again, to go Down the TBR Hole here is the 1st one: https://lifehasafunnywayofsneakinguponyou.wordpress.com/2018/02/11/down-the-tbr-hole-1/

So today I’m going through the next 10 books on my list, at the rate of twice a week this is going to take 25 weeks for me to go through my whole list and that’s if I don’t add any more inbetween!

Gullivers Travels by Jonathan Swift

This still feels like an amusing book so I’m going to say it’s:

Staying

The Sun Also Rises by Ernest Hemingway

This one has come on and off my tbr before but having looked at the reviews and the synopsis again and I just don’t think I’ll be that bothered about it. So it’s:

Going.

The Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux

I definitely want to still read this, I was reassured by reading Roseblood by AG Howard last year. So this one is:

Staying.

Anne of Avonlea by LM Montgomery

I don’t know why the second one is on before the first but anyway, I still want to read this series! So it’s:

Staying.

The Hunchback of Norte Dame by Victor Hugo

I loved the Disney version of this so I definitely still want to read it and this one is:

Staying.

Vanity Fair by William Makepiece Thackeray

This one was a toughie but I’ve decided that despite my better judgement I’m going to keep giving it a try. So it’s:

Staying.

The Scarlet Pimpernel by Emmuska Orczy

I’m not sure about this one but as it’s fairly short I’m going to give it a try. So it’s:

Staying.

Death of a Salesman by Arthur Miller

I like the sound of this one, so I’m going to have to say it’s:

Staying

As I Lay Dying by William Faulkner

This is another one which I’ve considered removing before. Having read some of the reviews I have decided that it’s going to have to be:

Going.

Lady Chatterley’s Lover by DH Lawrence

Even though I fear it’s going to be like Madame Bovary I’m going to say this one is:

Staying.

Two gone this week!
